Industrial Roof Renewal — Rosehill
This project was carried out for a multi-commercial asset-owning client who is a national commercial and industrial investor. ADKO handles all projects for this client across Queensland and New South Wales. The Rosehill industrial site had an existing roof with non-compliantly overlapping sheets — a horizontal line visible through the middle of the sheets where they had been cut and overlapped, causing water to capillary attract underneath and rust the underside of the sheet, resulting in leaks throughout the premises.
ADKO used a crane to install continuous sheets of almost 30 metres in length, eliminating the need for any step-down or overlapping. New fibreglass skylights were installed along with industrial whirlybirds for ventilation, new exterior cord gutters on both sides installed from scissor lifts, 55mm insulation blanket, new wire mesh, and a full re-batten.

ADKO, through the use of the crane, were able to get along these long roof sheets — almost 30 metres — up onto the roof to renew it with one full sheet, preventing the need for a step down or an overlapping metal sheet.
